Bedw Barn is a wonderful place to have a family holiday. The barn is spacious and well kept with great facilities. You do not need to go out! Everything is there for a stress free holiday. The views are superb especially when sitting in the hot-tub. Thank you once again for a lovely holiday.

One of the highlights of the week has to be watching the sun rise (and set) over the beautiful welsh countryside whilst sitting in the outdoor spa pool. Everything exceeded our expectations, despite the exciting photo gallery on the website. This has been a great place for a family holiday and children and grown-ups alike have enjoyed swimming, walking and playing at Bedw Barn and the surrounding countryside and beaches. Thank you for your warm welcome and your fantastic facilities.

Thanks for everything; we have had a fantastic week and were really impressed by your helpfulness and cheerfulness. As well as our comments above during the week we noted things we loved:
- The pool, spa and sauna
- The spacious kitchen
- The sofas! (+ the dining room chairs)
- The views
- The walks
- The bathrooms and fittings and radiators
- The owners!
- The bedrooms
- The cows and the tractor
- Effective heating
- The information folder

Superb time exploring Devil’s Bridge and Caedar Idris with plenty of time in the hot-tub to let the legs recover! The barn is great and looks even better than its pictures on the web suggested. A good base from which to explore the delights of mid/north Wales/. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely wonderful – from the accommodation to the views/location. Would definitely return – recommended for all ages – only gripe would be not enough channels – Pool & sauna more than compensated for some of us – but husband has square eyes! Thanks Nerys and David and mum.

Thank you we have had a lovely time the barn is fantastic we have all enjoyed the pool, spa and sauna. We visited the silver mines, Powis Castle and the walk at Devil’s bridge was fun. We also enjoyed the little railway in Welshpool. I think the only thing missing from the barn is a hairdryer!
All in All a great place to relax and enjoy Wales with the added facilities of a hotel all to yourself. Many thanks

We had a wonderful time, all facilities really helped us ‘decompress’! We particularly appreciated the welsh cakes, milk etc on our arrival. Wagon & Horses – outstanding food, family friendly.
Instructions to use appliances would be very useful
- Bedw Barn now supply instructions for microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine -

Thank you very much for a wonderful week in beautiful Bedw Barn. We found the accommodation to be luxurious, very well equipped and in magnificent scenery. The children really enjoyed the pool and spa, we wanted for nothing! We had a great day cycling round Lake Vyrnwy and then it rained, we visited Arthur’s LAby and CAT at Machynlleth. The garden at Powis Castle are fantastic and we had a great walk at hafren forest. (Only negative: we could have done with a couple of larger saucepans, cooking for 8 every night!) - Bedw Barn have now supplied 2 large saucepans -

Very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Excellent accommodation. First class pool and Spa facilites. Idyllic rural setting. Recommend Ty Siarad (Talkhouse) for food, also Lion Hotel in Berriew, Bistro excellent. Lake Vyrnwy. Train journey Newtown to Welsh coast via Aberdyfi – spectacular! Also 45 minutes to Shrewsbury – ladies loved the shops!
Useful tips:
Instructions for cooker, microwave and sauna
Mats around pool area to absorb pool water
Hand rail for ease of getting up the roman end steps out of the pool
- Bedw Barn now supplies instructions on appliances. Mats are supplied to help with surface water around pool area. We are looking into how we can install a hand rail as we feel this is a very good point. -
